Care With Care complies with all Government guidelines and standards, to ensure the highest level of quality care is provided:

• Care With Care Ltd is registered with the Care Quality Commission and the United Kingdom Home Care Association Ltd.
• Care With Care Ltd follows the General Social Care Council and the Essential Standards of quality and safety.

A high level of assurance is offered as all Carers are checked in the following ways:

• Carers are selected for their experience, ability and potential and are only employed after the Company has received a Criminal Record Check.
• Staff are checked against The Prevention Of Vulnerable Adults list. Two satisfactory written references are required prior to employment. An informal interview and a formal interview, with the Registered Manager and Senior Care Manager, are carried out.

All Carers are trained to be fully competent to do their job:

• Staff employed will have the necessary training, skills and knowledge to carry out their work effectively.
• All staff will undergo ongoing training and continuous improvement including mandatory courses. All Carers receive the necessary training to carry out their work effectively and are signed off as competent under the Shared Care Protocols by the Senior Care Manager.
• All staff are expected to complete NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
• Carers are trained by the Senior Care Manager to undertake specific care tasks as identified in the Care Plan, in accordance with Shared Care Protocols.

Care With Care has a range of Policies and Procedures that cover the National Minimum Standards of Care. These ensure that both Clients and Carers:

• Are treated with dignity and respect,
• Are not subjected to sexist or racist remarks,
• Are not abused verbally, physically or psychologically,
• Are given adequate notice wherever possible if they need to vary service arrangements,
• That Health and Safety is not compromised in any way.
